Sweethearts of the Rodeo was an American country music duo from Los Angeles, California who were active from 1986 to 1996. The duo consisted of sisters Janis Oliver and Kristine Oliver. While still in their teenage years they performed as the Oliver Sisters. The duo named themselves after the 1968 Sweetheart of the Rodeo album by rock band The Byrds.
The duo's biggest hits included "Since I Found You" (written by country duo Foster & Lloyd), "Satisfy You", "Chains of Gold", "Midnight Girl/Sunset Town", and a remake of the Beatles' "I Feel Fine".
Janis married country star Vince Gill in the early 1980s, who at the time was a member of country rock act Pure Prairie League prior to his country stardom; they divorced in the late 1990s and Gill has since married Christian music singer Amy Grant. The duo also owned a clothing store in Franklin, Tennessee called "Gill & Arnold" for a time in the late 1990s that has since closed.
