COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME

COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME IN NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE, SUCKS.  WE WENT THERE NOVEMBER 9TH, OR RATHER, TRIED TO GO THERE AND FACED SEVERAL OBSTACLES.  FIRST OF ALL, THERE WAS NO PLACE TO PARK.  WE SEARCHED FOR A REASONABLY CLOSE PARKING DECK BUT COULDN'T FIND ONE, INSTEAD THERE WERE HUNDREDS OF SIGNS EVERYWHERE WARNING OF EVIL THINGS THEY WOULD DO TO SOMEONE WHO TRIED TO PARK WHERE THEY SHOULDN'T.  THAT IS A REAL FRIENDLY THING TO DO TO ATTRACT TOURISTS TO A "FRIENDLY" TOWN LIKE NASHVILLE.  SECOND, WE REALIZED SOON AFTER "ARRIVING' THAT NASHVILLE'S HOMELESS SHELTER IS ONE BLOCK OVER FROM THE HALL OF FAME.  THERE WERE ALL KIND OF OF CRACK HEADS WALKING AROUND WE WOULD HAVE HAD TO TRY TO MEET IF WE HAD BEEN FOOLISH ENOUGH TO GET OUT OF OUR CAR.  THIRD, THE STREET IN FRONT WAS BLOCKED OFF FOR "APPROVED CMA TRAFFIC ONLY."  WELL, THAT IS ANOTHER FRIENDLY WARNING TO US LESSER PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T HAVE A SWANKY HOTEL ROOM AND A CAB TO DRIVE THEM AROUND.  FINALLY, DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE IS A MESS.  THERE IS CONSTRUCTION EVERYWHERE, CONFUSING, ONE WAY STREETS WITH HUGE CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT AND TRUCKS BACKING IN AND OUT EVERYWHERE.  I WILL NEVER GO TO NASHVILLE AGAIN!!!!!  THEY MIGHT AS WELL HAVE THE COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME IN THE MIDDLE OF NEW YORK CITY, BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE A BIG IMPROVEMENT.  DON'T TRY TO VISIT UNLESS YOU HAVE  A LOCAL GUIDE, THE WAY THEY DO WHEN THESE EXPLORERS TRAVEL IN THE AMAZON JUNGLE.  ALL I SAW WAS EVIDENCE OF URBAN CRIME AND CONFUSION.  BUT THAT'S OK BECAUSE I DIDN'T INTERFERE WITH THOSE PRECIOUS PEOPLE AT THE CMA AWARDS WHO HAD THE STREET IN FRONT OF THE HALL TOTALLY BLOCKED OFF SO WE COULDN'T EVEN DRIVE IN FRONT OF THE PLACE.
